Ralph Edward Langley, age 67, of Sandy Cross, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Born in Nash County on August 3, 1949, he was the son of the late Russell Lee Langley, Sr. and Thelma Estelle Lindsey Langley. He was also predeceased by his sister, Thelma "Naomi" Langley; and brothers, Russell Lee Langley, Jr. and Donald Ray Langley.

He is survived by his sons, Brent Langley and his wife, Anita of Elm City and Brooks Langley of Wilson; three grandchildren; sister, Dolly L. Joyner of Rocky Mount and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 2 p.m. at Sandy Cross United Methodist Church, 3725 Sandy Cross Road, Nashville with Rev. Jimmy Reavis and Pastor Bob Rose officiating. A Private Committal Service will take place at Pineview Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Sandy Cross United Methodist Church and other times at his son's home, Brent Langley, 3290 Volunteer Road, Elm City, NC 27822.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ralph's name to Sandy Cross United Methodist Church, 3725 Sandy Cross Road, Nashville, NC 27856.
