Roger K. Brown, age 73, of Spring Hope, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017.

Survivors include a son, Jason of the home, daughters, Michelle Kennedy of Spring Hope (Alan), Melissa Baines of Wilson; sisters, Ruth Bryant of Wilmington, Lucille Simmons and Betty Massey Barnes of Wilson; brother, Robert Brown of Bailey; four granddaughters; one grandson; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews and Wayne Lamm, brother-in-law.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Spring Hope Funeral Home

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Spring Hope Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens with military rights.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Lamm Brown, mother, Julia A. Griffin, father Romeo Brown and two sisters, Louise Bryant and Thelma Joyner.
