Marjorie Taylor Joyner passed away May 22, 2017. She is predecased by her husband, Arthur Linwood Joyner. Born in Nash County on October 24th 1931, she was the daughter of the late Everette Person Taylor and Bessie Frances Williamson Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Edwards and husband, Jim, of Rocky Mount; her son Neil Joyner and fiancé, Melissa Helton, of Wake Forest; her brother Charles Taylor and wife, Audrey, of Nashville, her brother Brooks Taylor and wife, Patsy, of Nashville, her brother Fred Taylor of Sebring, FL; two granddaughters; and many other family members and friends.

Services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville, with Dr. Wendy Edwards and Rev. Tim Andrews officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
