Frances Satterfield Bourne passed away on May 19, 2017. She was born July 30, 1925 in Richmond, VA to the late Charles Clifford and Vivian Gates Satterfield.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Robert Bourne, and her brother, Charles Clifford Satterfield II.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane B. Havard and son-in-law, Burley McDowell Havard of Gulfport, MS, daughter and son-in-law, Robin B. Mowbray and Raleigh Thomas Mowbray, III of Rocky Mount, and daughter Martha V. Bourne of Chelsea, MA; and three grandsons.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount. Rev. Jim Bell of First United Methodist Church will be officiating.

The family will also receive friends at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, Friday night, May 26, 2017 from 6:30 - 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 301 South Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or Braswell Memorial Library, 727 N. Grace Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
