Lorine Moore Evans, age 89, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017. Born in Nash County on July 1, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Julius Henry Moore, Sr. and Fannie Boone Moore. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Julius H. Moore, Jr, Benjamin W. Moore and Lemuel "Nick" Kornegay Moore.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Moore and husband, Steve, of Myrtle Beach, SC; sons, Bryan Dean Evans of Huntsville, AL, John David Evans, Jr. and wife Maria of Kingsport, TN and Rick Wayne Evans and wife Kathy of Winchester, VA; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday, May 22, 2017 at West Haven Presbyterian Church, Rocky Mount with the Pastor Sam Codington officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lorine's name to West Haven Presbyterian Church, Church, 1001 West Haven Blvd. Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
