Sherwin M. "Boogie" Edwards, 56, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017. He was born February 21, 1961 in Nash County to the late Irvin and Mary Wiggs Edwards.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan Edwards.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years Patricia Driver Edwards; two sons, Jonathan Travis Edwards of the home, Joshua Allen Edwards and friend Sarah Joyner of the home; one sister, Rose Gentry and husband Calvin; brother-in-law, Keith Driver and wife Karen; sister-in-law, Brenda Mincher and husband James; mother-in-law, Allie Ann Driver.
Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, May 19, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held, Saturday May 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Edward's Family Cemetery of Momeyer.
