Bettie Ann Johnson Pittman, 60, of Whitakers, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. from the St. Marks AME Church in Rocky Mount with the Rev. Larry Baker officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Wayne Pittman, of the home; a daughter, Sharis Whitehead and her husband, Alexander, of Rocky Mount; three sons, Donald W. Pittman, Jr., and Donte' Pittman, both of the home and Frederick L. Johnson of Whitakers; three sisters, Cornelia Richardson, of Whitakers and Doris Staton and her husband, Alvin and Gloria Johnson, both of Rocky Mount; six brothers, Ben "June" Lynch, and his wife, Faye, of Rocky Mount, Ollie Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Lois, and Randolph Johnson, both of Whitakers, Johnnie Johnson and his wife, Carolyn, of Rocky Mount, Joseph Johnson and his wife, Jeanette, of Hollister and Charles Johnson, and his wife Velma, of Wilson; and three grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville from 3 until 7 p.m.
