Linda Ruth Starling Bailey, age 66, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Born in Edgecombe County on July 6, 1950, she was the daughter of the late James Allen Starling and Elizabeth Bridges Braziel.

She is survived by her husband, Earl "Tommy" Bailey; daughters, Jennifer Murphy, Angie Bunn; and son, Thomas Allen Bailey and wife, Heather Leonard Bailey; 6 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services and other times at the home of Thomas and Heather Bailey.
