Randolph Alston, 81, of Whitakers, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2017.

Funeral services were Monday, May 8, 2017 at at Pleasure Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilson Battle officiating. Burial followed in the Alston Family Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Alston; three daughters, Jennifer Boddie and her husband, Terry, of Lawrenceville, GA, Connie Moore and her husband, Keith, of Rocky Mount and Donna Williams and her husband, Darrell, of Raleigh; two sons, Danny Alston, Sr., and his wife Theressa, of Tarboro and Brett Alston and his wife, Debra, of Rocky Mount; four sisters, Susan Alston, of Jamaica, NY, Estelle Richardson, of Hampton, VA, Mildred Johnson, of Enfield and Myrtle Alston-Summers, of Fayetteville; one brother, Lawrence Alston, and his wife, Ida, of Enfield; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
