ROCKY MOUNT – Joshua Warren Munden, III, 56, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008. He was born in Rocky Mount on November 12, 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents Joshua Warren Munden, Jr. and Laura Burgess Munden.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Ann Bass Munden; daughters, Laura Munden Wall and her husband, Andrew; Emily Munden Mountford and her husband, James and one grandson. He is also survived by his stepmother, Minnie Wilhalf Munden of Rocky Mount; sisters, Bet Munden Tulloss and her husband, Gus of Rocky Mount; Mimi Munden Quick and her husband, Craig of Greenville, NC and several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Visitation was held Tuesday, March 11, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:30 pm at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and other times at the home. A memorial service was held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Englewood United Methodist Church, Rocky Mount , NC 27804. A private committal will take place at a later time.
