Bobby Gene Edwards, age 68, of Momeyer, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017. Born in Nash County on November 18, 1948, he was the son of the late Floyd Edwards and Roscoe Matthews Edwards. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Edward Ray Edwards; and sister, Phyllis Edwards.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Long Edwards; one niece; one nephew; one great nephew; several cousins; brother-in-law Kenneth Long, and sister-in-laws Pamela Long, George Alma Edwards, and Bessie Leigh Denson.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
