Betty Brame McCullen, age 86, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017. Born in Rocky Mount on June 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Luther Ballard Brame and Cleo Daughtridge Brame. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Marie Brame Williamson and Rachel Brame Stanfield.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Lynwood McCullen; son, William Lynwood McCullen and wife, Sharon, of Wayne, PAone grandson; two nieces.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 100 S. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
