Katherine (Kathy) Ann Cooper Heafner, 55, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017. She was born in Nash County April 29, 1962.

She is survived by her mother, Lois "Ann" Cooper; sons, Brandon Cherry and Zach Heafner; daughters, Katie Cherry and Marissa Robinson; brother, Steve Cooper (Tampa) and sister, Debra Robinson. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Randolph Cooper, Jr.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
