Jeannie Joanne Mills Arnold, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Born in Nash County on October 1, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Gennie Jones Mills and Elizabeth Mae Evans Mills.

She is survived by her son, Randy Allan Arnold of Rocky Mount; daughter, Kimberly Arnold Ward and husband, Will, of Rocky Mount; 3 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak View Baptist Church, 2412 Arlington Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 or SECU Hospice House - Johnston Health, 426 Hospital Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
