Myrtle Adassa Dean Kennedy, age 75, of Battleboro, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017. Born in W. Indies, Jamaica on May 23, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Sirjue Dean and Charlotte Bailey.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Neville St. Patrick Kennedy; daughters, Marika Kennedy-George and husband, Allan; Andrea Kennedy-Harris and husband, Kim; and Karen Kennedy-Giannatasio and husband, Anthony; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Winston Sirjue of New Jersey and Cleveland Sirjue of Florida; and sisters, Jean Sirjue of Wilsona, Rosemarie Sirjue of New Jersey, and Vinnette Sirjue of W. Indies, Jamaica.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Rocky Mount with the Father Tim Meares officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 10 a.m. - 12 Noon prior to the service.
