Frances Aycock King, age 86, of Red Oak, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. Born in Warren County, NC on December 24, 1930, she was the daughter of the late George Leon Aycock and Kathlene Fuller Aycock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Jackson King; son, Stanley Ray King; and grandson, Jackson Braswell King.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Floyd King and girlfriend, Molly Satterwhite, of Nashville; daughters, Nancy King Weaver and husband, James, of Nashville; and Beverly King Parrish and husband, Jeff, of Red Oak; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, Logan, Garrett, Andy, and Maggie.
A graveside service was held Monday, April 10, 2017 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Larry Smith officiating.
