Mozella M. Battle, 93, of Nashville, died on Saturday, April 1, 2017.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 8, 2017 from the St. John Baptist Church in Red Oak with the Rev. Herbert Scott officiating. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Bernice Blount, of Wilson; four sons, Matthew Battle, of Silver Spring, MD, Spencer Battle, of Clinton, MD, Willie Battle, of Washington, D.C. and Tyrone Battle, of Rocky Mount; 20 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Wake services were held Friday, April 7, 2017 at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
