Shelby Jean Eason, 78, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. She was born in Martin County to the late J.T. and Maggie Briley Farmer. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eason and a brother, Ray Farmer.

She is survived by her sisters, Joyce F. Wallace(C.J.), Ann F. Woolard(Carl), Gail G. Clark and Donna F. Bowen(Arthur).

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at Millbranch Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
