Ernestine Aman Bynum, age 90, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Born in Onslow County on April 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Zack Aman and Vivian Lockamy Aman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lynell Bynum; daughter-in-law, Melinda Bryant Bynum; brother, Delma Aman; and sister, Sara Dershem.
She is survived by her son, Harry Bynum and wife, Melissa, of Rocky Mount; daughter, Carolyn Falk and husband, Nick, of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Zack Aman.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum with Rev. Bill Grisham officiating.
