Catherine "Cathy" Walker Pridgen, 67, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017. She was born October 26, 1949 in Nash County to the late Linwood and Christine Winstead Walker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Walker, brother-in-law, Jimmy Spain, and mother-in-law, Myrtie Pridgen.
She is survived by two sons; Donald "Donny" B. Pridgen II and Jeremy "Chad" Pridgen (Cinde); two sisters, Beverly W. Spain and Jackie W. Turner (Ray) of Snellville, Georgia; seven grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, January 20, 2017 at Sunset Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Robin Fisher officiating. Burial was at Rocky Mount Memorial park.
