Janice Williams Davis, 71, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017. She was born in Wilson County on September 7, 1945 to the late Melton and Ellen Williams. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Davis, Jr..

She is survived by her daughter, Leigh Anne Batchelor (Daniel); son, Harold Davis (Jill); brothers, George, Joe and Paul Williams; sister, Barbara Winstead.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 6-7 p.m. with the service beginning at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Whitakers Volunteer Fire Dept. Attn: Brian Mutzabaugh P.O. Box 8 Whitakers, NC 27891.
