Debra Kay Scott Griffin, 57, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017. She was born August 4, 1959 in Horry County, S.C.. Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Denise Leggett and her husband Robert Sylvester Griffin.

She is survived by her father, Sydney Scott (Linda); one son, Robert Griffin, Jr.; one daughter, Renee Griffin; one brother, Robbie Scott (Sherry); one sister, Cindy Cooper (Tim); 4 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Benvenue Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Nehemiah Fund at Benvenue Baptist Church 2464 Benvenue Rd Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
