ROCKY MOUNT-Ronald E. “Ronnie” Ruffin, 64, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008. Ronnie was born on November 13, 1943 to the late Mark and Hettie Ruffin.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 45 years, Carolyn W. Ruffin, his son, Michael Ruffin, daughters, Tammy Davis and husband, Dwight and Tara Ruffin all of Rocky Mount. He was a loving “Pa Pa” to his three grandchildren, Allen Ruffin, Meagan Davis and Santia Ruffin. He is also survived by his brothers, Carlton Ruffin and wife, Faye of Rocky Mount; Mike Ruffin and wife, Robbie of Durham; and sister, Debbie Bobbitt and husband, Bob of Rocky Mount and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Pineview Cemetery with Mike Ruffin and Dwight Davis officiating. Visitation immediately followed the service.
