BATTLEBORO-Thomas Felton Pollard, 86 passed away Monday, February 18, 2008. He was born in Edgecombe County to the late Orlando Reddick Pollard and Mary Felton Pollard.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise Sullivan Pollard, his sister, Mary Vick and brothers, Orlando, Joseph and Lester Pollard.

Surviving are his daughters, Theresa Pollard Dice and husband, Charles of Cannon Beach, Oregon; Thomasina Pollard of Battleboro, Toretta Pollard Snipes and husband, Ron of Oxford; sisters, Frances Irene Alexander of Kings Mountain, Betty Ann Poindexter of Tarboro; brothers, Samuel Pollard of Tarboro, Lyn Pollard of Hillsborough; and three grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Friday, February 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Battleboro Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Spradley and Rev. Horace Ward officiating. Burial followed at Battleboro Cemetery.

The family received friends Thursday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
