LANDOVER, Md. – Robert L. Mills, 66, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008. Funeral services were held Feb. 23 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Estelle Alston Mills of the home; two daughters, Margaret Mills of Capital Heights, Md., and Trina Melton of the home; three sons, Phillip “Pete” Mills of Columbia, Md., Wayne Mills of Charlotte and Bobbie Mills of Gaithersburg, Md.; two stepsons, James Alston of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Douglas Alston of Louisburg; his mother, Lessie Mills of Hollister; two sisters, Dorothy Stewart of Alexandria, Va., and Shirley Silver of Hampton, Va.; three brothers, Walter Mills of Nashville, Thurman Mills of Temple Hills, Md., and Zollie “Lee” Mills of Hollister; 23 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
