Rocky Mount – Nancy Hedgepeth Daughtery, 60, died Thursday, February 21, 2008. She was born in Wilson County, September 24, 1947 to the late Felton G. and Mildred Whitley Hedgepeth. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dale H. Webb.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 29 years, Tom A. Daughtery of the home; her brother, Dennis Hedgepeth and his wife, Liz of Sharpsburg; brothers-in law, Joe Daughtery and his wife, Joyce of Goldsboro, Sam Daughtery and his wife, Cynthia of Louisville, KY; nieces, Wendy H. Upchurch, Lisa Mercer and her husband, Brad, Krystal Bunch and her husband, Phillip, and Heather Daughtery; several nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and special friends.

A funeral service was held at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Webb officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

The family received friends Saturday evening at the funeral home from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence.
