David Ray Heckman, 36, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016. He was born on February 3, 1980 in Maricopa County, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his step-mother, Terry Heckman. .
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Heckman; daughters, Hayleigh and Kristen Heckman; father, Ray Heckman; mother, Helene Heckman; sisters, Amanda and Theresa Heckman.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Church on the Rise 3520 Bishop Road Rocky Mount. A visitation will be held at 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home 1052 S. First St. Nashville, NC 27856 to go towards a college fund for Hayleigh and Kristen Heckman.
