Raymond William Wadsworth born in Edgecombe County, resident of Whitakers, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016. He was the son of Evelyn (Dinah) Pitts and William Roy Wadsworth.

He is survived by his wife Brenda, three children Jason, Justin, Laura Ellen, two grandchildren; three sisters, one step sister, two brothers and two step brothers.

Services were held October 30, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home with the Pastor Gene Jackson officiating. Burial followed at Whitakers Cemetery.
