Jeanette Stancil Dove, age 84, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016. Born in Nash County on March 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Dancey Thomas Stancil and Deanie Barnes Stancil.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William H. Dove; children, Lea Ann Truelove and husband, Harold, of Red Oak; JoEllen Rogers and husband, Tony, of Williamston; and William "Billy" H. Dove, II of Rocky Mount; 3 grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Stancil of Rocky Mount; brother-in-law, Henry Thompson of Knoxville, TN; one niece.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Terry Williams officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service or other times at the home of Bill and Jeanette.
