Anita Daughtridge Bobbitt, 87, died February 18, 2008. She was born in Rocky Mount to the late John Clifton and Huldah Barnes Daughtridge.

Mrs. Bobbitt was predeceased by her husband, James Miles Short Bobbitt. She is survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount with Rev. Pete Brown officiating.
