NASHVILLE - Lottie Mae Snider Miller Glisson, 72, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006. She was born in Forsyth County, Winston Salem, July 25, 1933 daughter of the late Rodolph Snider and Hattie Reece Snider.

She married Bob Miller, July 5, 1959 and was married to Don G. Glisson, June 20, 1987.

Her brother, Frank Snider preceded her in death.

Mrs. Glisson was a retired school teacher with Rocky Mount City Schools. She was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church, Nashville Lions Club and Home Economics Club.

Survivors include her husband Don Glisson of the home; daughter, Maria Miller Pfannkuch and husband, Blaine of Warrenton, VA; son, Stanley Miller of Sumter, SC; stepchildren, Gary Glisson and wife, Ruth and Grant Glisson all of Nashville, NC; grandchildren, Elaina Pfannkuch and Marissa Pfannkuch; step grandchildren, Grayson Glisson and Kelsey Glisson; sister, Jennie and husband, Don Hall; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 226 S. Barnes Street, Nashville, NC. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at Nashville United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 with Rev. Wayne Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
