Joyce Arlena Lucas Stalvey, 70, passed away, Monday, September, 19, 2016. She was born in Shenandoah, Va. to the late, Carl and Inez McAllister Lucas. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers, Frankie, Alvin, Carl, Keith and Lindel.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Larry Danforth (Amy), Bradford Dovel (Nola); daughters, Lisa Baines (Jamey) and Odessa Shifflett (Julian); grandchildren, Clara, Austin, Madisyn, Bransen, Joanna, Kimberly, Joshua, Jacob and several great grandchildren; brothers, Gordon, Kenneth, Gary and William; sisters, Violet, Naomi, Hilda, Carol, Jean and Yvonne.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Tabernacle of Praise Church with Rev. Ray Vick officiating. Visitation will follow the service at the church.
