Roger "Pip" Hicks, 64, of Louisburg, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016. Funeral services were held Monday, September 12 from the Haywood Baptist Church in Louisburg. Burial followed in the Haywood Church Cemetery. The Reverend Rachel Drumgold officiated.

He is survived by his daughters, Angelita Edgerton (Jermaine) of Bunn, Rachel Drumgold (Michael) of Norlina; son, Roger Hicks, Jr. (Bobbie) of Louisburg; step-son, Charles Bullock (Earnestine) of Louisburg; sisters, Dinah Williams of Louisburg, Pastor Katie Armston of Bailey, Joanne Wilder of Louisburg; brothers, Tommy Hicks (Ramona) of Louisburg, Joseph Hicks of Franklinton; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
