Vivian Lanier Lee passed away on September 2nd, 2016 in Altavista, Va. She was born on August 31st, 1918 to Asa and Lucy Lanier of Rocky Mount. She met and married the late Talmadge Lee in Rocky Mount.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on September 6, 2016 at Pineview cemetery in Rocky Mount with Reverend Mike Hobbs officiating.

She is survived by her three children, Sheila Campbell (Ron) of Altavista, Va., Bob Lee (Wanda) of Greenville N, Tonya Lowe (RM) of Raleigh; a sister, Sybil Valentini of Reisterstown, Md.: 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Vivian was preceded in death by a sister, Della Mae White of Rocky Mount, and a granddaughter, Susan Campbell of Altavista, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you would consider donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
