Willie Kermitte Puckett, 79, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016. He was born in Nash County, June 18, 1937 to the late Oscar and Ruby Mae Murray Puckett.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy G. Puckett; son, Brian Puckett (Cindy); daughter, Terry Puckett Proctor (Steve), step-daughters, Jennifer Steelman (Paul) and Joy Griffin Jones; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Nelson Puckett (Cynthia) and Joel Puckett (Tammy).

The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, from 6-9:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 at Oakdale Cemetery, Spring Hope. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association 1305 Navaho Dr. Raleigh, NC 27609.
