Reverend Dr. Carleton McKita passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

He is survived by his wife Margaret (Peggy), sons Paul, Richard, George, James (J.C.) and fiancé Jessica Wharton, and daughter Barbara Jackson, two step sons Michael Kanai and wife Laura and Jeffrey (Gus) Kanai and fiancé Angie Griffin also grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Service of Death and Resurrection will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday September 11, 2016 at Englewood United Methodist Church in Rocky Mount.
