Thomas Royster Mayo, Jr., 68, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016.

He was born in Edgecombe County March 15, 1948 to the late Thomas Royster and Murphy Whitehurst Mayo.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sandra White Mayo of the home; sons, Thomas Edward Mayo of Nashville, William "Bill" Joseph Mayo of Raleigh and a sister, Marilyn Kooce (Phil) of Asheboro.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
