Briann Nicole Dawes, age 28, of Sharpsburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Born in Nash County on March 1, 1988, she was the daughter of Bruce Elwood Dawes of Laurel Springs and Dianne Bryant Dawes of Sharpsburg. She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Bobby Bryant and her paternal grandparents, Thad Dawes and Clydie Mae Dawes.

She is survived by two daughters, Aurora Sky Dawes and Bella-Jade Rose Hedgepeth; her brother, Chad Clifton of Sharpsburg; sisters, Melissa Dawes of Rocky Mount and Molly Dawes of Laurel Springs; and her maternal grandmother, Mildred Bryant of Rocky Mount.

A service will be held Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Howard Kendrick officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 2-4 p.m. prior to the service.
