Elsie Mae Patterson Mills, 74, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016. She was born in Nash County August 7, 1941 to the late Lloyd Patterson and Sylvia Patterson Bissette.

In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Warner Mills.

She is survived by sons, Stephen Mills (Bridget), Bennie Wayne Mills (Jo Lynn), Jimmy Mills (Tracy); daughters, Theresa Rackley (Ted), Susan Gardner (Johnny); 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Whitley.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Gospel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Mills officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
