Rachel Jenkins Harrell, 79, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville. Visitation with the family will precede the funeral service at 10 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.

Ms. Harrell was preceded in death by her parents, James Redden and Mae Estelle Flowers Jenkins.

She is survived by her son James Robin Harrell with wife Susan Harrell and two grandchildren; sisters, Ruth J. Joyner of Rocky Mount, Helen J. Owens and husband, R.C. of Wilson, and Peggy J. Roberson and husband, Eddie of Rocky Mount;

Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Rachel Jenkins Harrell.
