Linda "Sissy" Woodcock Jackson, age 69, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Born in Nash County on April 4, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Charlie "Buddy" Allen Woodcock and Lucille Matthews Woodcock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Jackson; granddaughter, Alex; and brother-in-law, Woody Reeves.

She is survived by her daughter, Duchess Pittman Edwards and husband, Robert of Greer, SC; step-daughters, Susan Tweedy and husband, Scott, of Nashville; and Patti Anderson and husband, Bill, of Tarboro; two grandchildren; brother, Victor "Bookie" Woodcock and wife, Debra, of Rocky Mount; sister, Rita Woodcock Reeves of Swansboro.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Steve Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1 - 2:45 PM prior to the service.
