Alton C. Hall, age 83, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Born in Nash County on February 10, 1933, he was the son of the late Charles Edgar Hall and Naomi Lassiter Hall. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lynn Privette Hall; brother, Edward Hall; and sisters, Margaret Macklin and Marie Hall.

He is survived by his son, Paul Brian Hall of Rocky Mount; and two grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
