Rethella Alston Davis, 85, of Hollister, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016. Visitation is Tuesday, July 26 from 3-7 at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral servcies will be held Wednesday, July 27 at 12 p.m. from the Pine Chapel Baptist church in Hollister. Burial will follow in the Pine Chapel Church Cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Richardson will officiate.

Rethella is survived by daughters, Earnestine Wood (Simon) of Chesapeake, VA, Garlinda Davis of Nashville, and Doris Alston of Hollister; son, James Artis Alston (Addie) of Littleton; sisters, Mayola Harris (Herbert) of Warrenton, Savannah Richardson of Hollister, and Lorraine Staton of Rocky Mount; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
