Phillip Boone, 78, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Males and her husband, Bruce, of Pink Hill; a son, Phillip Donald Boone and his wife, Margie, of Ewing, NJ; three sisters, Odessa Hines and her husband, Alfred, of Dale City, VA, Leah Whitehead and her husband, Dan, of Nashville and Connie Richardson and her husband, Charlie, of Nashville; two brothers, Daniel Boone, of Nashville and Curtis Boone, of Rocky Mount; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 12 until 1 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
