Prince "Scott" Evans, 87, of Nashville, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 10 at 2 p.m. from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Nashville. Open visitation is Saturday, July 9, 3-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The Rev. Cecil Harris will officiate.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Evans of the home; daughters, Glady Evans of Nashville, Glenda Arrington of Rocky Mount, Patsy Lewis (Nathaniel) of Nashivlle, Stephanie Thomas of Castalia, and Sandra Evans of Sharpsburg; sons, Prince Evans, Jr. (Linda), Thurman Evans (Tanya), Tom Evans, Wayne Evans (Freda), all of Nashville, Michael Evans of Knightdale, and Aston Evans of Castalia; sisters, Barbara Richardson of Nashville, Alene Cooper (Donald) of Converse, TX, and Linda Evans of Nashville; brothers, Jesse Evans, Henry Evans (Geraldine), Elijah Evans (Elizabeth), Charles Evans, Roland Evans, Willie Evans, all of Nashville; 33 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
