Kelly Wayne Waldrop, Jr., 37, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016. He was born in Nash County on May 23, 1979. Kelly was preceded in death by his grandfather, Benjamin Gardner and grandmother, Virginia Waldrop.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hux Waldrop; parents, Kelly Wayne Waldrop, Sr. and Patricia Ann McKinney Joyner; sons, Seth and Kaleb Waldrop; step-sons, AJ and Michael Jordan and Tyler Cobb; daughter, Ava Waldrop and step-daughter, Suzanne Jordan; sister, Melissa Bass (Kevin).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
