ROCKY MOUNT - Silas Grady Cooley died Friday February 1, 2008, at Autumn Care in Nashville. Si was born October 21, 1919, to Elizabeth and Frank Cooley of Wilson County. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Nanny Newsome and Magdalene Rhodes; brothers Paul, David, James, and Ervin “Buddy;” and son-in-law Mark M. Bulluck, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edith Marie Brown Cooley; daughter, Linda Marie Bulluck of Rocky Mount; son, Frank Neil Cooley, Sr. (Dale) of Weddington; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Feb 4, 2008 at Pineview Cemetery, conducted by Rev David Eidson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Edgemont Baptist Church, P.O. Box 7293, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
