Reverend Lester C Bissette, 86, of Bailey passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016. His funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31 at Bailey United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. Dr. Michael Coppock will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1 - 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to service at Bailey United Methodist Church, 12437 Green Street, Bailey and other times at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia B. Bissette of the home; his daughter, Debra Bissette Spivey and husband, Van of Concord; his son, Robert C. Bissette and partner, Ronnie Smith of Bailey; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C.F. Bissette and Mamie Glover Bissette; his wife of fifty years, Catherine McKeel Bissette and all of his brothers and sisters.
