James Willard Vester, Jr., 65, of Spring Hope passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 26, in Oakdale Cemetery, Spring Hope. Bishop J. Mack Taylor will officiate.

James is survived by his daughter, Trina Vester Woodruff and husband, Troy of Kenly; his son, Jordon Tyler Vester of Wilson; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Willard Vester, Sr., and Louise Joyner Vester.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Joyner's Funeral Home, PO Box 425, Wilson, NC, 27894 to help with the end of life expenses.
