Adelia Leonard Cooper, 87, of Nashville, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016. Funeral services were held May 10 at the Helping Hand Church of Deliverance. Burial followed in the Cooper Family Cemetery. Elder Martha Hodge officiated.
She is survived by daughters, Mattie Jones (Henry) of the home, Elder Gloria Cooper of Nashville, Sandra Cooper of Nashville, and step-daughter Nancy Stokes of Nashville; sons, Willie Lee Worley (Becky) of Nashville, Marvin Worley (Vernell) of Rocky Mount, Clarence Cooper (Sheila) of Salem, Ct., and Danny Cooper (Tamia) of Nashville; sisters, Elizabeth Moore of Nashville and Elouise Hedgepeth of Rocky Mount; 38 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren.
